This is a GB 42 lo pro milling bar. You also get x1 Stihl PMX ripping chain and Lo Pro drive rim. You will require a sprocket that has a replaceable drive rim to run this set up. Do not run on your standard 3/8 spur sprocket - you can damage the bar and chain.
These narrow kerf bars run the superb Stihl PMX lo pro chain which takes a thinner kerf, demands less power from the saw and gives excellent smooth and fast milling. We are one of the few suppliers to have these bars in our range. GB Bars GB bars have been making bars for more than 40 years and Tom Bereens one of the originators of the company is always looking to improve on their all ready well proven designs. One of the few companies in the world that will take on new projects and new ideas. They have a pedigree for making a huge range of guidebars but some of their main business rests in making tough durable harvester bars for forwarders.
Their extra long guide bars that we sell are based on the same design of durability and strength. Currently chainsawbars stocks their more specialist bars which include longer guide bars that run lo pro chain and also their extra long guidebars.
