Vintage Stihl BDN Military Two Man Chainsaw. This saw is complete and uncommon to find in the US. Like many German Military saws, this one was de-commissioned for the civilian market by removing the carb. To make it a runner, just about any old two man carb with the right bore would work. Note the magnesium oxidation on the tank top, the transmission and the starter hub. For the best looking saw, you will need to make these cosmetic repairs. At least the oxidation is without deep pits. The pinch bar was completely white, cleaned with a vinegar bath and repainted.
