We do this madness to get are name out there and support ourselves in the timber sports industry. We did one of these "bullet proofed" saws a wile back the customer is still satisfied and its still cutting fire wood today. The MS290's are not really worth it to rebuild but when the 390's come in, tis the season so they get some new life. This saw has been torn down to the crank. The plastic crank bearings were replaced with steel 6203 skf c3's. Which is a very heavy duty bearing normally found in 80+ cc saws.

Making this 390 very durable. The muffler has been ported. I would have ported the cylinder but this style saw actually loses a little bit when you modify them. The piston is a cross with a caber ring. Some give the Cross piston a bad wrap but as mentioned before.

I built an identical saw and its still cranking to this day!! It will come with a used 20 inch bar. All of the features work as they should including chain brake, kill switch, oil pump, and choke. We do appreciate your business!! We get back to people very quickly with all questions.

This saw with arrive broken in but it is recommended to go easy on the saw for the first tank of fuel. (50 to 1 mix with quality oil and fresh fuel).
