Stihl 026 RED LEVER chainsaw Muffler Modded Runs Strong! Adjustable oiler

Stihl Red Lever (early models) 026 chainsaw with some work done to it. Base gasket deleted and sealed with Threebond 1184. Brand new fine steel mesh air filter - OEM Stihl. Airbox cover has been opened up internally, for added flow. This also prevents oiling a non-moving chain at idle.

Hillbilly bark box' style muffler mod. This frees up the muffler significantly, and retains the spark screen. It's not a perfect looking mod, but is functional. OEM adjustable carburetor to compensate for added flow from steel mesh air filter, and opened up muffler. Aftermarket gas cap (still weeps a tiny amount of fuel). The main repair done to this saw, was adding some JB Weld to the'pawls' that retain the brake band. They had worn down slightly, which would bind up the band and clutch drum.

They have now been hand-filed down to fit perfectly, and shouldn't cause an issue.
