This is a genuine Stihl 028 AV Super Wood Boss with the Electronic Quickstop safety system. It's one of the classic West German-made saws - built tough, smooth running, and known for lasting decades. I had it professionally serviced about 4 years ago at a small-engine shop. I used it once afterward and it ran great.

Since then it's been sitting in my shop, stored indoors.
