Stihl 056 Magnum 2

As you may know the Mag has bigger cylinder bolt pattern and heavier crank than the rest of the 1115 series saws. The only way to really tell the difference other than measuring the piston is the semi notch on the corners at the base of the jug. I have assembled this saw from the crank up. New 56 mil Caber rings help this mill to 155#s + compression. Early style SEM ignition is reliable as opposed to later style.

Dual port exhaust allows saw to breathe just fine. New style starter pawls provide starting reliability. Saw start great, runs great and has tons of power. Everything works as it should.

This is the saw that loggers in the Pacific Northwest still go to for big timber. West coast bucking spikes, chain brake. I can provide video or additional pictures if needed.
