Yes big sprockets will be harder on your chains and bar and other parts as the they speed up the chain and load the engine. Yes they cause more stress to everything but so do 500 HP engines in your favorite car but you decide if it's worth it. If you want to cut big wood fast then you need big sprockets.
These are designed mainly for race saws so use accordingly at your own risk. Allow one-four extra drivers per chain depending on what your useing now and how big you go.
